How to Make Pistachio Paste
English Recipe: Pistachio Butter
Ingredients:
2 cups roasted pistachios
2 tablespoons honey or powdered sugar (optional)
1 tablespoon olive oil or pistachio oil (for consistency)
1 teaspoon salt (optional)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the pistachios: If they have shells, remove them. If they are raw, roast them in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for 7-8 minutes.
2. Blend the pistachios: Add them to a food processor and start blending.
3. Achieve a butter-like texture: First, they will turn into a powder, then they will release their natural oils and become creamy.
4. Add sweetener (optional): If you prefer a sweeter taste, add honey or powdered sugar. To adjust the consistency, add a little olive oil.
5. Blend until smooth: Depending on your preference, blend until you get a smooth or slightly chunky consistency.
6. Store properly: Transfer to a jar and store in the refrigerator. Consume within a few weeks for the best freshness.
